An Alarming Statistic
The amount of concert attendance drop-off since starting school has been quite disturbing. I already nixed going to Girl Talk/Dan Deacon last week and am now really regretting missing Fujiya & Miyagi last night at The Ottobar. Then again, that was all the way up in Baltimore, but it was the band's only show in the immediate area and I really dig Transparent Things. Now I'm having serious doubts if I can even make The Hives show next month since, as of right now, there's no opener listed which means I would miss at least an hour of the show as I would still be stuck in class. I've realized that my social life has gone downhill since the fall semester began and all but I don't know how I'm going to survive missing all these shows. On the other hand, I guess I'm saving money by not going to as many concerts. Oh wait, forgot about the whole tuition thing. Nevermind.
